Industrial Revenue Bonds
Private for-profit corporations can issue tax-exempt municipal bonds to finance manufacturing facilities with certain limitations. Because these “industrial revenue bonds” require certain state and local agency approvals we stand ready to assist in achieving these benchmarks. Industrial Revenue Bonds are subject to certain limitations and qualifications.
Rubin & Hays has served as bond counsel for many economic development projects. The manufacturing facilities financed with those bonds produce whiskey, light bulbs, automobile parts, glass, air-filters, food processing, drywall, sheet metal, and textiles. We shepherd these financings from the government approval process to the sale of the bonds and final funding.
Contact us to determine whether tax-exempt industrial revenue bonds can be a viable part of the financing package for your manufacturing facility. As bond counsel, we can help navigate federal and state laws governing their issuance.
